Cytolytic Vaginosis

Cytolytic Vaginosis and Lactobacillosis are both subtypes of the more familiar vaginal symptom of Bacterial Vaginosis. The lactobacilli-induced cytolytic vaginosis results from Lactobacillus overgrowth and is often confused with candiasis.

Women with Cytolytic Vaginosis complain of a thick or thin white cheesy vaginal discharge. Cytolytic Vaginosis is being treated by increasing the vaginal PH.

If you are suffering from a strong or fishy vaginal odor it is more likely that you are dealing with Bacterial Vaginosis rather than Cytolytic Vaginosis. All types of vaginosis occur primarily from an imbalance of the normal healthy vaginal flora.

There are vaginal odor remedies to deal with foul smelling vaginal odor or vaginal ammonia smell available.
